"Companions" portrays a serene and symbolic connection between nature and ancient architecture. The tall agave plant stands next to the iconic Portara of Naxos, both bathed in the glow of a full moon. The juxtaposition of the organic agave and the timeless, geometric Portara suggests a quiet companionship between the natural and human-made worlds. The agave, reaching toward the sky, mirrors the enduring stature of the Portara, evoking themes of growth, endurance, and harmony. This piece reflects a timeless bond, where both the natural and historical elements coexist as guardians of Naxos' legacy under the watchful moon.
